Open rehearsals
On most Tuesdays, 18:00 - 20:00, we learn new jazz shapes and choreographic material with the Fearleaders Vienna - a fellow feminist project. Each session, I’d love to welcome up to three participants from the Feminist Dance Workshops community to connect with each other and expand our practice.
The drop-in fee is EUR 15, and I will, of course, refund the full amount if you cancel at least one day in advance or can’t join due to illness. We dance on the 2nd floor of Tanzstudio Manhardt, at Neubaugasse 38, 1070 Vienna.
Please let me know via the form below which of the coming Tuesdays you’d like to join and transfer the fee to IBAN AT292011182361983103. In the unlikely scenario that the session does not take place, I will inform you directly.
This is an open-level space centred on jazz dance and musical theatre storytelling. All participants commit to moving in a safe space, where dance is a shared and joyful experience. If you’d like to leave earlier, or join for the first hour only, this is not a problem as the open rehearsals are rather flexible.
No prior dance experience is needed, though practicing dancers will enjoy the challenge that a higher level of nuance in both warm-up and choreography offer.
